TOOLS & MATERIALS
Ferro Weathervanes furnishes everything you need to complete your weathervane. Feel free to bring any hand tools you are comfortable with. Extra materials can be purchased to take home.

ENROLLMENT
A completed application and accompanying materials is required. One class is given each year in the spring. The class is limited to 4 students so enroll early.

WORKSHOP DATES
Gilding Workshops - May be taken any Monday through Thursday during regular business days and can be done one-one-one at any date.
Beginner Weathervanes Workshop - February 13 - 15,  2012. This year the workshop is limited 4.  Enroll early!
Advanced Weathervane Making (3-D figures) (*NEW*) March 12-15 Limited to 4 students.
 

TUITION

Gilding Weathervanes Workshop: $150. for 1 day.
Beginner Weathervanes Workshop: $450. for 3 days.
Advanced Weathervane Making: $600. for 4 days. ($500. for previous students)


Gilding and Beginning Weathervane workshops: in succession: $500. for all 4 days.

50% deposit is required with balance due on starting date.

GENERAL
Shorter, longer and more specific workshops can be arranged.

   - Ample off street parking is available.
   - If you and I have the time and someone is available, field trips to  other local weathervane artists can be arranged. Traveling expenses would be shared.

ACCOMMODATIONS
We are 40-50 minutes from T.F. Green Airport, Providence, R.I.

  • We encourage students to rent cars or to drive so that you have transportation in the evenings to visit and enjoy Bristol and the grandeur of Newport, which is only a short distance away.

  • You must make your own arrangements for room, meals, and transportation. 

  • If you are staying in town and need a ride to and from the studio, something can probably be arranged.
