It is Ferro Weathervanes goal to offer the world’s most extensive selection of weathervanes and weather vane accessories. The latest addition to our growing line of available options allows Ferro Weathervane's customers to customize their weathervane unlike anywhere else in the world.

Borrowing an idea from our cousin, the Lightning Rod, we now offer these wonderful colored and shaped Glass Globes. These globes are especially created to adorn our weathervanes in place of the copper globes. They are hand-blown into specially made cast iron molds The open ends are capped with special copper or brass collars. They  will endure decades upon decades of use without any kind of maintenance.

We offer an impressive selection of stock globes and some special limited editions, This option allows you to add a spot of permanent maintenance free color to your rooftop in a unique, tasteful, and fun way. Enjoy!

Classic Glass Globes
 Classic Globes are smooth round balls. They have been the most common and affordable balls throughout history with their roots planted firmly in early Lightning Rod use. Several transparent and opaque colors are available.      Custom colors may be possible. $41 - $55.

Special Stock Globes
 Special Stock globes feature special patterns. They are less common and cost more than Classic Globes. Some of the pattern and color combinations offered are striking. Colors are limited to particular transparent and opaque colors on these new balls. $55 - $130.

Limited Edition Glass Globes
These premium collectible glass globes are the result of very limited editions being produced either in contemporary or original century-old lightning rod balls molds. Colors and inventory are limited. The exciting combinations are designed to insure a less common option for customizing your weathervane as well as potential for increased value in the collectors market of the future. Some are numbered. $55 - $300.

Economy Glass Globes
These imported and thinner glass globes are perfect for the weathervane on a budget.
