OPTION 1.) COPPER PENNIES

Weathervane makers throughout history have placed dated coins in the bellies of weathervanes during construction. The artist that creates your weathervane will stamp your specified initials (2) on a currently dated copper penny or pennies and place them in a small cotton bag. " The bag will be placed, loose, into the belly of your custom weathervane so that future generations will be curious as to what's clunking around inside and open it up. If You are purchasing a ready-made copper & brass weathervane, the penny or pennies can be soldered to the outside. $1.00 per penny.

OPTION 2.) ENGRAVED PLAQUE

A machine-engraved copper plaque can be soldered to the outside of your weathervane as a dedication or memorial. It can also be placed inside a cotton bag and included inside the belly of the weathervane or combined with the contents of your Time Capsule if you select that option. A plaque is a wonderful way to ensure that your weathervane becomes a family heirloom. Plaques make great fundraisers. Donors' names can be inscribed for a donation to help fund the weathervane's creation or restoration or possibly even more extensive construction, to a church steeple for example. The inscription can be a family name, a commemoration, a message to future generations, and/or a date. We will create a computer model of your plaque for your approval before engraving. Plaques are $10.00 for sizes up to 2" by 4". The inscription will be charged at $.95 per character engraved. 

OPTION 3.) TIME CAPSULES

For custom made weathervanes only. Kits include; custom made capsule, Permalife paper, plaque describing the mission of the capsule to be attached on the outside of the container, application to register your Time capsule with the International Time Capsule Society, Time Capsule Planner pamphlet, and all the sealing materials necessary to ensure a safe and long voyage into the future. Read the section "Time Capsule Process" to familiarize yourself with the materials and procedures of this special offer. Please remember that pennies and plaques can be added to your capsule also.
