SELECTING
YOUR CUPOLA SIZE
Either use our
popular application guide or this simple rule of thumb, "one inch of cupola
width for every foot of roof line plus a size". Remember that once a cupola
is selected and installed, it is there for life. Cupolas, like anything
else, appear smaller when high up, especially when placed in contrast to
a larger object. Cupolas rarely look too big. When a garage roof-line runs
uninterrupted over a breezeway, family room, etc. we recommend centering
the cupola over the garage portion only.
 
ROOF PITCHES
Our cupolas will comfortably fit roof
pitches up to 6-12 (a). Follow the diagram below for determining the pitch
of your roof. Roofs steeper than a 6-12 pitch (b) require a base
extension for the cupola. It is important that you order base extension
(if needed) at the same time you order your cupola.
 
INSTALLATION
Our cupolas are simple and easy to install. Simplified

VENTING
Cupolas are
a simple but extremely efficient form of ventilation. Adequate ventilation
can reduce temperature and moisture problems allowing an attic and walls
to be drier. There is no more effective house freshener. Visit

CONSTRUCTION
Our cupolas are manufactured & quality inspected
by highly skilled craftsmen who demand only the best when selecting lumber
and materials. The cupolas are made from either a premium grade mahogany
or cedar or 100% maintenance free recycled plastic lumber. Polyethylene
is a paint free durable product which will never fade, crack, peel, or
rot. Polyethylene cupolas are available in white only and are assembled
with stainless steel fasteners. Our cupolas are covered with 16 oz., 24
gauge standing seam copper.
